About Me
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Biotechnology from University of Milan in Italy, a Master’s of Science degree in Medical, Molecular and Cellular Biotechnology from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University of Milan, Italy and an international PhD in Molecular Medicine from European School of Molecular Medicine (SEMM) and University of Milan, Italy. Currently, I am a post-doctoral research fellow at the Unit of Cancer Biomarkers, IRCCS Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza Foundation. My research interests are focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms of drug resistance in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) with the ultimate goal to identify predictive biomarkers of therapy response as well as the identification of new therapeutic strategies to treat lung cancer resistant patients.Outsides working as a scientific researcher, I also enjoy traveling, music and sport, hence I would like to describe myself as positive-thinking, enthusiastic, and persevering.
